Fees & Reservations

• Wheaton Park District Residents: Free! with a Wheaton Park District Universal Resident ID*
• Nonresident Adults (ages 12-59): $12
• Nonresident Adults (ages 60 and over): $10
• Cosley Zoo Members: Free! (Please show your Cosley Zoo membership card and a photo ID.)
• All Children (birth to age 11): Free!
• Gold Star Family Member: Free! Please show your Illinois driver’s license or id card with the Gold Star Emblem to receive free zoo admission for you and one additional adult.

Advanced reservations are required for all groups of 10 or more individuals. Regular admission fees apply to groups arriving without a reservation.

Self-Guided Group Field Trips from Outside of Wheaton

• Illinois Schools recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education
  • Students in grade K-12 are free
  • One adult per 10 students is free; a 1:5 ratio is provided for schools with students requiring additional staff support
  • Additional adults are $12 each for adults (18-59) and $10 each for seniors (60+)

• Private Groups (This includes private preschools, daycare centers, after-school programs, homeschool groups, scouts, park districts, camps, special recreation associations, and senior centers, among others.)
  • All children 11 years and under are free.
  • Adults (12-59) are $12 each and adults (60+) are $10 each

Self-Guided Group Field Trips from Wheaton

• All children and adults are admitted for free with a reservation.

Please allow for at least a two-week advance notice when making your group reservation inquiry, and have the following information available:

1. Group contact information including organization/facility name, primary contact person, mailing address, email address, and phone number
2. Preferred date(s) you wish to come to the zoo
3. Preferred time of arrival
4. Anticipated number of children (age 11 and under)
5. Anticipated number of adults (age 12+)
6. Age/grade of students (if applicable)
7. Any special needs or accommodations
8. Will your group be arriving by full size bus or small bus/vans/cars
