The Cosley Foundation is seeking partners for its various programs and events. Whatever your level of interest, Cosley Zoo has a spot for you! All event partners receive recognition at the event, on the Cosley Zoo website, and in the Cosley Tails newsletter.

Cosley Tails newsletter: Distributed to more than 2,500 zoo supporters four times per calendar year.

Pumpkin Fest (October): A month-long celebration, this event offers seasonal activities and pumpkins and other fall merchandise for purchase.

Festival of Lights & Christmas Tree Sale: The Festival of Lights is a December tradition for more than 10,000 visitors. The zoo is decorated with animal-themed light displays made up of thousands of lights. Trees, wreaths, and gifts are available every day. Santa’s Craft Corner, Christmas Tree Lane, and lighted displays all help zoo guests get into the spirit of the season.

Critter Cart: The Critter Cart moves to stations throughout the zoo to inform and educate visitors about some of the zoo’s residents through hands-on activities.

Party for the Planet: A nationwide event held every April in conjunction with Earth Day, Party for the Planet shares with visitors the various ways to make their yards wildlife-friendly.

Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals: This popular race, one of the largest 5K/10K runs in the suburbs, attracts 2,600 runners every June.

Kids’ 1/2 Mile Run: This half-mile run for children 6 to 12 years old takes place as part of the Run for the Animals.

Amphitheater: Hosts a variety of fun and educational opportunities for zoo guests on a seasonal basis.

Mike Williams Cosley Classic Golf Outing: Attracting 250 golfers, this annual August outing is held at Arrowhead Golf Club and offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, a raffle and awards.
