Cosley Zoo hosts a variety of events every year, including the popular Run for the Animals in June and The Festival of Lights & Christmas Tree Sales in December.
Day at the Races 2013
Four animals compete for the Title of Animal of the Year!
Make a donation in the kiosk at Cosley Zoo or in the Wild Side Gift Shop and cheer your favorite animal on to victory. Pick up a special coloring page in the gift shop to take home with you. Race ends September 30.

Curious George Comes to Cosley Zoo!
Meet Curious George in the Amphitheater. Have a chance to purchase one of George's favorite reads, Curious George goes to the zoo or Curious George goes Camping. All book proceeds benefit Cosley Zoo.
You can also get your photo taken with Curious George!!

Ever wonder what it’s like to spend the night at the zoo? Here’s your chance to find out! Bring your tent and sleeping bags as you join staff for a memorable overnight experience. Enjoy activities including a night hike, roasting marshmallows, morning chores and a hearty breakfast. Space is limited to 25 families so be sure to sign up early.
To register, call 630.665.5534 or stop by the gift shop. Registration is required by June 14. Nonrefundable payment is due at time of registration. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for July 26-27.
Cosley Zoo Uncorked
Looking for a wild night out? We have just the thing! Enjoy a distinctive wine tasting experience, complete with the animals and atmosphere of Cosley Zoo. The evening will feature a wine sampling, hors d’oeuvres, raffle, giveaways and more!
Evening features entertainment by singer/songwriter, Lisa McClowry, and Thomas Linsk, singer/pianist. McClowry was named international vocalist of the year from the WAVE Awards, formerly known as the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards. She will be performing a variety of jazz, R&B, pop, blues and country. Thomas has not only performed at special events for Oprah Winfrey and other Chicago area celebrities but all over the United States.
Wine can be ordered at the event from Famous Liquors. Wine orders placed at the event from Famous Liquors will be available for pick up at Cosley Zoo. More information will be provided at the event. Famous Liquors is donating 10% of wine sales to Cosley Zoo.
Registration is required by Friday, July 12. Payment is required at the time of registration.

Mike Williams Cosley Classic Golf Outing
Celebrating 30 Years
The Mike Williams Cosley Classic Golf Outing is held the first Monday in August and offers a fun-filled day at Arrowhead Golf Course. Golfers are treated to 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, dinner, prizes and many valuable gifts. Like the Cosley Foundation's other fundraisers, the golf outing's success depends on the generosity of many sponsors and all proceeds benefit capital projects at Cosley Zoo.
